Brooklyn Gin is a rather vibrant gin from New York using 'hand-cracked' juniper and fresh citrus peels (rather than frozen or dried peels).

In 2010 founders Emil Jättne and Joe Santos set out to make a high-quality small-batch American gin by hand, on their own terms and embracing the Brooklyn Spirit. Since then, the company they have built around this guiding principle remains proudly independent and purposely small. They do everything by hand. It takes more time and effort, but they believe you can taste it in your very first sip. Brooklyn use one Christian Carl copper pot still. Each batch yields 300 bottles of gin and our process takes three days. They distill Brooklyn Gin using locally purchased fruit and a base spirit made from 100% American corn that is sourced from small farms.

The guys believe in the American tradition of the cocktail hour and strongly believe they can enrich that experience with their gin. At the end of the day, they want to help people drink better. By making the best gin they can, Emil and Joe hope people will use it to create their own special moments.
