A gorgeous Rose from Provence that happens to be organic. Experts Hecht and Bannier source superb wines from Aix-en-Provence, where conditions offer nicely ripe Grenache and Cinsault.
Hecht & Bannier is a négociant-éleveur company, a joint venture founded and run by Grégory Hecht and François Bannier, who are based in Bouzigues on the north shore of the Bassin de Thau. Having met at Dijon University in 1993, they decided to join forces to buy, assemble and age complementary wines from the very best growers in selected Languedoc-Roussillon appellation areas to create fine wines that are truly expressive of the terroirs chosen. Increasingly journalistic recognition are at testament to the quality of Hecht & Bannier. Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence vineyards are planted on a limestone plateau stretching from the North of the city up to the River Durance. Growers benefit from a mediterranean climate which favors farming in full respect of the environment and methods now understood as sustainable. With remarkable periods of sunshine and cool nights during the summer, best conditions are gathered here to produce complex and aromatic rosés.
