The Mudbrick restaurant sits on the Mudbrick ridge overlooking the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf. It also offers a range of luxury accommodation and is a fabulous venue for weddings, all year round.

To say that Mudbrick Vineyard owners Robyn and Nicholas Jones have been around the block would be an understatement. Making wine for nearly three decades will teach you a thing or two about how to make the perfect drop! Full of hope and promise, they bought an empty lifestyle block on Waiheke Island in the 80’s and did what anyone would do with a blank canvas: started a winery. Battling changing weather, trees that wouldn’t stay planted, and local cows that periodically wandered onto the property, they set up their dream vineyard and are still operating it today. They started with just a few vines and almost no winemaking experience and now operate two vineyards, are introducing new varieties every season, and have not once tired of creating, drinking, and sharing fine wine. Their original iconic mudbrick barn gave this idyllic winery its name, and although they have evolved over the years to become an award-winning, world-class winery destination, their innovative curation of flavours and passion for premium wine remains the same.
