Tasting Notes & Experience

Light amber with copper hues and a full, satiny body. Aromas of vanilla, clove, cinnamon, toasted nuts, honey, orange peel and black cherry. The palate layers cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon, dried berries and praline. A prolonged, ultra-smooth finish lingers with elegant fruit and spiced accents.

Eight Reserve began with an ambitious brief: create one of the greatest tequilas ever crafted. Master Tequileros in Jalisco selected mature valley agaves, slow-cooked, tahona-crushed and naturally fermented before double distillation in copper. A library of French and American oak casks—some holding Extra Añejo for up to eight years—was then blended for harmony, depth and satin texture. The sculptural ceramic decanter, handmade by artisans in Pachuca, embodies 818’s commitment to design and tradition.
