Delivery and Returns

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order is on its way, you will receive a tracking link via email. Should this email not arrive, please contact us at hello@cove27.co.nz, and we'll resend the link for you.

SIGNATURE REQUIRED

Given the nature (wine and spirits) of our gift boxes, all parcels are dispatched with a 'Signature Required'. This ensures someone must be present to sign for the delivery. If no one is available, the courier will leave a 'Calling Card', informing the recipient of the missed delivery. This card can be used to arrange a convenient redelivery or redirection.

Prefer a more flexible delivery? Simply include the message ‘No Signature Required’ and any other specific instructions in the 'Special Instructions' box. By authorising the courier to leave the parcel unattended, you accept full responsibility for the parcel once delivered, as it will be left unattended. Please note, COVE 27 cannot be held responsible for any packages post-delivery.

DELIVERY TIMES

We use trusted third-party courier companies to deliver your orders directly to you or the recipient. They usually deliver business days (Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays). Some couriers may deliver during weekends from time to time. See below for Public Holiday information.

We aim to fulfil (pack and dispatch) orders within 1-2 business days. Whilst we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, once dispatched, as a guide, we would normally expect orders to be delivered within 1-2 business days to central Auckland, 2-3 business days to the other North Island city centres, 2-4 business days to South Island city centres and an additional 1-2 business days for rural deliveries across the country.

Please note that due to the couriers operating beyond our control, we unfortunately cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

CHANGES POST DISPATCH

Please note that once a package has been dispatched we are unable to change any delivery details associated with the order, for example, the delivery address or recipients name. Please ensure all delivery addresses are correct and we strongly recommend including a contact telephone number for the recipient or yourself to aid the courier should there be any problems upon delivery.

PROPERTY ACCESS, INCORRECT & PO BOX ADDRESSES

We regret that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes and are not responsible for incorrect addresses provided or non-delivery due to inaccessible addresses (such as properties with dogs, fencing or locked gates blocking access, or non-staffed receptions in apartment buildings).

RURAL DELIVERIES

For rural addresses, a signature might not be obtainable. Once your parcel is marked “Delivered” on the tracking link, this usually means it has been handed to the rural delivery driver and may take an additional 1-2 business days to reach its final destination. If you are unsure if the delivery address is rural or not, you can check it here.

PICK-UPS OR COLLECTIONS

We are an online-only business and do not offer pick-ups, as our liquor licence does not allow it. Sorry.

RETURNS

If an order has been damaged, or goes missing in transit, we’ll replace it or give you a refund, no worries. If you want to return a product, please contact us at hello@cove27.co.nz including your order number within thirty (30) days of receiving the product. For non-damaged returns, please ensure the product(s) have not been opened or tampered with and returned in their original packaging. There is no restocking fee for returned products. We require damaged products to be returned to us for inspection so please do not destroy any damaged products. All returns must be returned to us by post/mail and once received, we will then process your refund.
