On the palate, vibrant red berries followed by soft prunes and cherry notes then goes on to reveal a tart ending with pomegranate hints. The finish lets some dry gin notes through with juniper berry hints.

Ink Sloe & Berry gin is Husk's twist on the traditional English sloe, infused with an explosion of botanicals; Davidson plums, red & black berries, juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice, jaboticaba and native rosella (a type of hibiscus) flowers which gives the gin its distinctive colour.

Husk Distillers was founded by distiller Paul Messenger and his family in 2012 and has been producing innovative craft spirits ever since. Ink Gin was born in 2015 after three years of development and experimentation.

Nestled in the Tweed Valley on the North Coast of New South Wales, the distillery is set on the family cattle and cane farm. Ten minutes from some of Australia’s best surf beaches and overlooked by Wollumbin (Mt Warning), the distillery is primarily a paddock-to-bottle agricole rum distillery with a focus on sustainable farming and innovative distilling.
