Infused with fynbos from the coastal region and dunes of the Cape Floral Kingdom, Inverroche Gin Amber is a rich and aromatic, amber coloured gin with fresh citrus, slight juniper, sweet toffee apples and delicate floral notes which intertwine to deliver a dry, woody finish.

  • Distillery: Inverroche Distillery
  • Type: Gin
  • Region: Stillbay, South Africa
  • Alcohol: 43%
  • Volume: 750ml
  • Goes with: Amber G&T - Ice, premium tonic, orange zest, strawberries, pink peppercorns

Made in the same way as Inverroche's Verdant Gin, except this time the Fynbos botanicals from the Cape Floral Kingdom used are from coastal areas as opposed to the mountainous region. These South African botanicals are used during distillation (using the vapour infusion method) and a subsequent infusion with the coastal botanicals providing a much darker hue as well as a different flavour profile.

As the pioneers of South African craft gin, Inverroche Distillery was founded by Lorna Scott and her family. Growing from strength to strength in the local community of Still Bay in the Western Cape of Southern Africa. In just 6 years, the distillery has grown from a small home industry to a flourishing and pioneering craft distillery. A distillery that is invested in its community and producing world class gins and spirits.

Inverroche takes its name from the combination of two words that pay homage to the Scott ancestry, referencing both their Celtic and Gaelic backgrounds.

The Scottish word “Inver” meaning ‘a confluence of water’ and the French word “Roche” meaning ‘rock or stone’ are the very elements that have come together in Still Bay to create the conditions necessary to make these world class, one-of-a-kind craft gins.

Inverroche is a progressive craft distillery creating uniquely South African spirits using rare hand-harvested wild African Fynbos botanicals. Mellow summers and misty winters create the rich Cape Floral Kingdom from which a range of exceptional spirits are crafted. Inverroche is a family concern which prides itself on being a professionally run business dedicated to providing a quality niche alternative to conventional mainstream brands and incorporating the unique flora of the region. It is a region rich in natural beauty with rolling hills of pristine limestone, mountain fynbos, dune thicket and Renosterveld and surrounded with rugged mountains and indigenous forests. The Distillery is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fynbos. Ancient Milkwood trees mark the boundaries of the estate. The stone tower with its pagoda shaped roof peeps over the roof of the old limestone buildings which is now home to the Inverroche Distillery and its range of iconic spirits.

Today the brand has three distinct gins, crafted using only a handful of the more than 9,000 Fynbos botanicals. "We can proudly say that we are selling these craft gins in up to 15 countries globally." Inverroche
