Craftsmanship & Story

Founded in 1815 on Islay’s storm-lashed south coast, Laphroaig floor-malts part of its barley and cold-smokes over local peat for its famed maritime, “medicinal” style. Quarter Cask revives an old practice: after bourbon-barrel ageing, the whisky rests in smaller American oak casks, increasing wood contact to intensify sweetness, spice and vanilla while preserving the distillery’s briny peat.
