AMISFIELD PINOT NOIR:

Concentrated notes of Black Doris plum and dark red fruits combine with a complementary savouriness building layers of complexity into the wine. Structural, fine grained tannins provide lovely weight and backbone which is framed with bright natural acidity and well-integrated French oak.

AMISFIELD ROSÉ:

A Central Otago Rose favourite. Vibrant fresh summer berries pop out of the glass. With a palate full of strawberry, pomegranate and watermelon characters, juicy acidity is balanced well with intensity of flavour. The finish is zesty, long lasting and dry.

AMISFIELD SAUVIGNON BLANC:

Intensely aromatic with ripe passionfruit and tropical notes leading the way, the wine shows great concentration and drive, with a juicy finger lime and citrus focused mid palate framed with bright acidity. The majority of fruit was cool fermented in stainless steel, with a small component of barrel fermented wine blended in for texture.

Amisfield was established in 1988, a Central Otago based specialist producer of Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines created from fruit grown on the estate vineyard beneath the Pisa Mountain range in the Cromwell Basin. This privately owned company's 200ha property, once a prominent high country Merino station, is one of the largest single vineyard estates in the Central Otago region. Over 80ha is currently planted with the majority of the vines being over ten years old. A state-of-the-art purpose built winery is the focal point of the vineyard and produces 20,000-30,000 cases of wine annually. Pinot Noir accounts for over 60% of the production with the balance made up of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling.
