Casa Del Sol is an ultra-premium tequila made from the finest hand-selected 100-percent Blue Weber agave. Rested for four months in French Oak and Cognac barrels handcrafted with French Limousin Oak. Grown in the Altos de Jalisco region of Mexico, the rich red clay soil and cool climate produce the best agave in the world.

Casa Del Sol is a luxury sipping Tequila, inspired by the magic of golden hour and the legend of the Aztec goddess of agave, Mayahuel. Tequila is a romantic, ritual spirit steeped in tradition and mysticism. Legend has it that in order to protect herself and her lover, the God of Wind, from her spiteful grandmother, Mayahuel created an agave with long green spires that could defend them. Enraged by their defiance, her grandmother wielded a bolt of lightning and burnt the agave to the ground. What was left amongst the ashes was a single green spire, at the base of which was a piña filled with the sweet nectar of agave, completing Mayahuel's transformation into the Goddess of Tequila.

Mariana is a Mexican-based artisan, entrepreneur, and daughter of Paco Padilla, the cultural ambassador of Jalisco, Mexico. The Padilla family has deep roots in the history of the Tequila industry, and Mariana grew up surrounded by the greatest Maestros Tequileros. As Casa Del Sol's Artesana Tequilera, she brings generations of rich culture and artistic heritage into Casa Del Sol spirits, identity, and product development.

Ale is based in Jalisco, Mexico and oversees the production and quality control of Casa Del Sol's distilling process, bottling, and sustainability. She is a protégé and goddaughter of the late Francisco Alcaraz, master distiller and creator of one of the most successful tequilas in the world. Over the last four years of his career, Ale served as his right hand, developing her unique style under his guidance. Her work continues with Casa Del Sol where she has been able to honour his legacy and make her own mark on the industry.

Legacy and authenticity are huge components of Casa Del Sol, and it was important for us to pay homage to the generations that preceded Casa Del Sol through every facet of their identity, including the Casa Del Sol logo, which is visibly inspired by the mystical origins of Tequila. Casa Del Sol is the product of generations of knowledge and decades of tradition, creating an entirely new spirit that is masterfully built on bringing together the best of two worlds.

Grown in the Altos de Jalisco region of Mexico, the rich red clay soil and cool climate produce the best agave in the world. Cultivated using natural and sustainable practices that rely solely on rainwater and the rays of the sun, Casa Del Sol hand-select the finest 7-year-old 100% Blue Weber Agave, ensuring the highest quality of every piña used to produce our precious spirit. Casa Del Sol piñas are hand-cut masterfully by our jimadores, then halved and cooked for 8-10 hours in an autoclave that is heated using steam produced sustainably by burning the trimmings from their process. The piñas are removed from heat and crushed to extract the sugars from the agave, which transforms into alcohol, or mosto. Casa Del Sol distil multiple times, first in stainless steel and then in copper stills to reduce harshness and remove any natural impurities. With the experience, knowledge, skill and intuition of generations, they carefully navigate the delicate balance between capturing the essential alcohols, and draining off the other components to achieve the absolute best in quality & flavour.

Casa Del Sol is unlike any other Tequila. Where most Tequila brands source whiskey barrels from the United States, Casa Del Sol partnered with Laurent Martell, the 9th generation of the Martell family in France, and sourced Cognac barrels handcrafted using French Limousin Oak. These unique barrels are widely regarded as the most desirable in the world because of their loose grain. This open grain imparts certain characteristics of the oak that soften and enhance the spirit. Casa Del Sol's unique barrel aging process results in a distinct flavour and aromatic profile where New World Mexican artistry meets Old World French craftsmanship. The result is a sophisticated duality of two designated regions protected by similar appellations of origin.

Casa Del Sol is a socially responsible company and committed to caring for each person involved in the creation of our products. Casa Del Sol provide healthcare opportunities to their production workers and are developing programs to help level the playing field for women in the Altos de Jalisco region. Women have historically had limited access and services to improve both their personal and professional development, and in order to create change, you need to start at the foundation. They listen to and work directly with the community to create customized programs that will ensure real and lasting impact. Casa Del Sol are proud partners with a 100% Mexican-owned distillery that has been awarded the distinctive ESR (Empresa Socialmente Responsable) award for adhering to the highest standards regarding social, economic and environmental practices.
