This El Mayor Reposado is elegantly structured, balanced and remarkably smooth. Subtle golden hues. On the nose, hints of sweet fruit flavours and understated spice. In the mouth, round entry leads to a dryish, medium body with perfumed fruity agave, vanilla, spice and caramel. Smooth and balanced with fruity, perfumed spice finish.

El Mayor, meaning 'the greatest' in Spanish, this superb reposado has been crafted at the Gonzalez family owned distillery, steered by Master Distiller Rodolfo Gonzalez, which has been aged in small, charred, white oak barrels for 9 months before bottling and is made from 100% Blue Weber agave.

Heritage of Jalisco

El Mayor’s tequila craft is deeply rooted in the fertile lands of Jalisco. Made exclusively from the finest Weber Blue Agave plants, these sweet succulents flourish in the rocky lowlands at about 7,500 feet above sea level.
