A TRIPTYCH OF CREATORS
A triptych of sky, land, and fire, The Gardener and its creators embody the elements of nature required to create a spirit that captures the French Riviera.
From this meeting of like minds, each with exceptional skill, came a new idea.
SKY - BRAD PITT
A dreamer, a visionary and a man deeply connected to nature, Brad desired to create a spirit reflective of the place with which he fell in love, a spirit as inspired and iconic as the atmosphere from which it was conceived. The pursuit of beauty and perfection led him to imagine The Gardener
FIRE - TOM NICHOL
An alchemist of great renown, former master distiller of Tanqueray gin, Tom has amassed over 40 years of experience in the art of making gin. Tom became the second person ever to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gin Guild. Like an artist translating a landscape with brush and paint, he perceives a recipe in light and colour. The Gardener is proof of his vision, skill, and uncompromising sense of balance.
LAND - Famille Perrin
For five generations, the Perrin family has resided in Southern France, caring for the land and all the life it produces. The first vignerons in France to adopt organic methods in the mid-twentieth century, the Perrins have been devoted to the wellbeing of the earth and its harvest. From the cultivation of biodiversity to regenerative agriculture, their vineyards and wines, as well as The Gardener, are an expression of their own dedication to the health of nature and the generations to come.
THE FRENCH RIVIERA
A PLACE OF ART
The French Riviera’s art-de-vivre has enchanted artists and dreamers from all over the world, from Christian Dior and Brigitte Bardot to Grace Kelly and The Rolling Stones, ... The French Riviera is a heart of creation, an instigator of inspiration, a place where the imagination is let to transcend and run wild.
A UNIQUE ART-DE-VIVRE
The luxurious simplicity of an afternoon spent on the water. Sunset on a terrace, overlooking the waves. The easy freeing of one’s mind in nature. Beautiful food, refreshing drinks. The coming together of friends and family. The carefree moments of a long holiday in the country. The subtle elegance of falling into nature's rhythm. This is their Art de Vivre.
A WILD & RICH TERROIR
It is the wild juniper of Provence, resinous with a day’s sun. It is the bitter orange trees - Bigaradier - of Cap d’Antibes and Citrons de Menton, limbs thick with fragrance. The wild rosemary and figs of the Côte d’Azur. It is the lavender of the hinterlands and the mimosa blossoms of the coastal cliffs.
